Find the people, services and supplies that keep horses healthy, safe and moving.
Search near a United States city, state or ZIP code. The directory keeps Lazy K-owned records separate from live Google Maps and community-maintained OpenStreetMap results, so a source never quietly becomes a verification claim.

Source is not the same thing as verification.
Verified business
Lazy K has confirmed that the business exists and that its basic contact information is current. This does not verify every service or professional credential.
Credential verified
Lazy K checked a specific credential against the issuing organization. The recorded credential will be named on the listing.
Community confirmed
A horse owner or business supplied or recently confirmed the listing, but Lazy K has not independently verified it.
Unverified
Lazy K has not independently confirmed the listing. Unverified does not mean unsafe; it means you should confirm contact details, services, credentials and availability yourself.
How listings are sourced
When configured, nationwide coverage comes from live Google Maps Platform text searches. Those records are labeled “Google business result - unverified,” are not copied into the Lazy K database, and must not be read as proof that a business offers the horse-specific service in the search.
OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL provide a narrower fallback. Those records are also unverified and remain in this browser only. Community map coverage varies, so a missing result does not mean no service exists.
Lazy K-owned listing records are kept separately. Claimed and submitted listings are reviewed before their verification label changes. No public ratings or paid placement are used.
What each category can—and cannot—tell you.
Equine veterinarians
Third-party results are search leads, not veterinary verification. A result does not establish licensure, horse-specific practice, emergency coverage, equine-only practice, or acceptance of new clients. Call before hauling. Availability and emergency coverage can change.
Farriers
Ask what kind of work the farrier routinely does, the area they travel, and how they handle a horse that struggles with its feet. A listing is never called certified unless a real, checkable credential is recorded.
Trailers and repair
Place directories do not provide a reliable horse-trailer specialty field. Confirm horse-trailer experience, floor and frame work, brakes, bearings, wiring, aluminum welding, and living-quarters service directly.
Tack, feed and supplies
A general feed, farm or saddle business may not stock what a horse owner needs. Call before a long drive to ask about the product, size, feed brand, saddle service or trailer part you need.
