A trim is quoted on how far Kat is driving and how much horse there is to work with. A horse who stands quiet and gives you all four feet is not the same job as a colt who has never had his feet handled, or one who has learned to fight about it, and pretending they cost the same only means the difficult horses are paid for by the easy ones.

So she quotes yours after she has heard about him. Tell her honestly how he is about his feet, including the bad days. It changes the plan, not her willingness to come.
