The lesson is for both of you
Most of what goes wrong between a horse and a person is a conversation that never got taught, and it is usually the person’s end of it. A lesson is where that gets sorted out. You will be asked to change what you are doing before the horse is asked to change anything.
That is not a criticism of you. It is just where the work actually is.

What this costs depends on how far Kat is driving and how long your horse needs. Tell her about your horse and she will tell you the number, before she comes out, with nothing to settle up afterwards.
